Operation on CPU!

Yesterday my IT100 lecturing class was only 1hr.. Then hv to wait for another 1hr for practical that is to operate an old CPU! while we r waiting, we discuss bout d event for independant day. n when time reached, Dr. Tan n Dr. Lee hv to go the operation room to save the CPU about 80yrs old like that.. But one ridiculous thing is we don't know it's gender.. haha. lol.. When I enter the room, there is another professional doctor who help us to save the patient. We give a chance to this pro doctor to guide us coz she got more experience..

This is the 80 yrs old CPU..

Dr. Mages (left), Dr. Lee (middle), Dr. Tan (right)

we hv to remove all the components in it's body (CPU)

This is the heart (power supply)

everything can be removed easily except for the lung (cd-rom) - it's not lungs coz it don't hv dvd-rom.. haha. we spent so much time juz to remove the lung but it's actually very ezy to remove. the only thing is, we make it so complicated. In the meantime, while we r trying to remove the lung, we accidentally remove the liver (the thing under the cd-rom) with 'a bit of strengths'.

At first Dr. Mages don't know how to remove, then Dr. Tan n Dr. Lee didn't give up to continue save it's life. About half an hour ltr, Dr. Mages come again n help us.. it's actually need to screw out a useless screw.. haiz. n we finally remove everything except for the skin (mother board). skin with the receptors need not remove unless it got disease on the skin.. hehe.

THE OPERATION HVN'T COMPLETE! We still need to reassemble the components back to the original place.

(These are all her pics coz the hp is with me n that's why my pic was not snapped) - don't misunderstand...

In conclusion.. do we save the patient? or we r torturing it? we remove all the components mayb the dust will also been removed at the same time.. who knows? so we save the patient's life.. it's juz we took the longest period among all the doctors in the class to operate the CPU! haiz.. the earliest to start n the longest to end.. coz it's the oldest CPU!
